Letter of Invitation
Provided ONLY to persons who:
- Have received a formal acceptance notice AND
- Have paid their conference registration fees
A letter of invitation for visa application will be provided ONLY to persons accepted as conference presenters who have paid their registration fees. We do not provide letters to co-authors, only to the presenter. Only one letter of invitation will be issued for a presentation. If the original presenter cannot attend the conference, under no circumstance will a second letter of invitation be issued. If the original presenter cannot attend, the presentation should be withdrawn. To request a letter, please complete and submit the Letter of Invitation Request Form.
Important: If your visa request is denied after you have registered for the conference, you are required to supply a copy of the decision letter from the embassy office, in order to get a registration refund minus a 10% administrative fee. No embassy letter, no refund.
Certification of Attendance
If you are an accepted conference presenter (i.e., you were formally notified by the UAA Executive Office that your proposal was accepted) and have completed your registration payment, you may request a Certification of Attendance. Your certificate will be available at the On-Site Registration Desk for pick-up during the conference.
Deadline for requesting a Certificate of Attendance to be picked-up in Los Angeles is March 15, 2019. All requests made after this deadline will be reviewed and fulfilled two weeks after the conference.
