The Management Board of the International Journal of Housing Policy (IJHP) is seeking to appoint a new Editor-in-Chief to follow Professor Richard Ronald (University of Amsterdam) who is demitting the role after 5 years.

The Editor-in-Chief will be a well-established social science-based housing researcher, with an excellent record of research and publication, and an international outlook, who will have demonstrable experience in the editorial aspects of academic journals. Joint applications from two individuals who are interested in a job sharing arrangement are also welcome.

It is anticipated that the incoming Editor will take up the position in early 2019, following a handover period. The appointment period will be three years in the first instance, with possibility of extension. The post is not remunerated, although reasonable expenses are payable.

Written applications should be made in three parts: 1. a two-page CV; 2. a short critique/ appreciation of recent volumes of IJHP; and 3. the applicant’s ‘vision’ of IJHP’s development over the next five years.
