Important Governing Board Elections Deadlines

October 24, 2019 

  • Deadline for informal suggestions (from UAA members) to the Nominations Committee Chair, Gordana Rabrenovic at g.rabrenovic@neu.edu

December 2, 2019

  • Initial list of nominees e-mailed by the UAA Executive Office to all 2019/2020 UAA members. Instructions for additional nominations by petition are included.

February 7, 2020 

  • On-line ballot established and voting begins. UAA Executive Office sends voting instructions to current 2020 members via email.

February 21, 2020 

  • On-line voting closes at 5:00pm (CST).

April 3, 2020 

  • Election outcomes announced by the Nominations Committee Chair at the UAA Annual Business meeting.
  • Immediately following the Annual Business Meeting, the new Board meets in formal session. During this meeting, the Nominations Chair announces slate for Board officers: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer, and manages voting by written ballot.

April 4, 2020 

  • Nominations Committee Chair introduces all members of UAA Board (new and continuing), as well as officers, during one of the conference luncheons.

April 24, 2020

  • UAA Executive Office shares outcome of election with UAA Community.
