The School of Public Policy and Leadership seeks applications for an innovative faculty member at the tenured Associate/tenured Full professor level to develop research and teach in programs that raise our national visibility and contribute to the priorities in the College of Urban Affairs. The appointment will begin in the fall of 2020.
The School of Public Policy and Leadership is open to applicants from a range of disciplines and policy areas, however, we are particularly interested in scholars with a focus on the broad area of urban resiliency.
We are looking for a faculty member that values teamwork, mentorship and management, and flexibility. In addition, we are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working at an extremely fast pace, with the ability to be adaptable and course correct and re-prioritize in response to the changing needs of our community, our discipline, and our programs.
The new hire will become part of a group of scholars focused on various aspects of resiliency who are developing and implementing innovative programs that seek to apply for scholarships and actively engage community stakeholders.
