WHAT: 2023 Speed Mentoring for Graduate Students & Early Career Professionals
WHEN: Thursday, April 27 (12:15–1:00 PM CDT)
WHERE: Nashville Renaissance Hotel (UAA conference hotel; room to be determined)
DESCRIPTION: Interested in having a one-on-one discussion about a career-related issue? Mid-career and senior scholars will serve as volunteer career mentors to graduate students AND early career professionals (less than 5 years beyond Ph.D.) who apply and are accepted to attend this special session.
COST: Free for 2023 UAA conference registrants; attendees must apply & be accepted to attend the session. If you are not registered yet, feel free to apply. If you are accepted for the Speed Mentoring session, you will be given a 48-hour period to register for the conference.
HOW TO APPLY: Complete an online application form.
APPLICATIONS DUE: Wednesday, March 15, 2023 (11:59 pm Central Time, USA)
Late applicants will not be considered. No walk-ins will be allowed on the day of the session.
Volunteer Mentors: UAA is building a pool of experienced PhD professionals to serve as informal mentors during our professional development sessions.
