About the Editor

Igor Vojnovic is Interim Director of Global Urban Studies at Michigan State University (MSU). He also holds appointments in MSU's Department of Geography, Environment and Spatial Sciences, College of Social Science; and School of Planning, Design and Construction. His main areas of research focus on urban (re)development processes and the study of resulting socio-economic, physical, environmental and health impacts. His research has been published in journals such as Environment and Planning A, Environment and Planning B: Planning and Design, Urban Geography, Urban Studies, Ecological Economics, Health & Place, Urban Affairs Review, Applied Geography, Transportation Research Part D, Journal of Urban Design, GIScience and Remote Sensing, Environmental Conservation and Journal of Urban Affairs. He has been Associate Editor (2010-2015) of the Journal of Urban Affairs and he is currently the journal’s Editor in Chief.
