Creating healthy and sustainable cities

The international conference of the European Urban Research Association (EURA) aims to advance understanding of how to co-create healthy, sustainable and more equitable cities. You are invited to participate in this forward-looking conference.

Hosted by the Centre for Sustainable Planning and Environments at the University of the West of England this conference will be held in the iconic City Hall, located in the heart of the vibrant city of Bristol.
The conference will bring together scholars from over 30 countries to share ideas on how cities can respond to the current climate change and ecological emergencies as well as to growing inequality within societies.
The conference has nine tracks covering a variety of themes relating to how to plan, govern and develop cities in the future. In addition, ten mobile workshops will enable participants to visit innovative urban projects in Bristol and exchange ideas with local civic actors.
