Eligibility
To be eligible for Individual Membership, you must be involved in education, training, service, administration, or research in the field of urban affairs.

Dues

  • Individual Member dues are $83 per year.
  • Your membership will begin on January 1 and end on December 31.
  • No institutional or personal checks are accepted for membership payments.
  • Important: Membership dues are nonrefundable after 7 days from payment.

To receive the Individual Member discount for UAA conference registration, you must have an Individual Membership for the year in which the conference occurs. Memberships expire each December. Student Membership

Eligibility
To be eligible for a Student Membership, you must be a current undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in urban affairs.

Dues

  • A special student membership rate of $42 per year is available for currently enrolled students.
  • Your membership will begin on January 1 and end on December 31.

To be eligible for a Retired Membership, you must have retired from working in education, training, service, administration, or research in the field of urban affairs.

Institutional Membership

Eligibility
Any formally organized unit or organization that engages in education, research, training, service or administration in the field of urban affairs shall be eligible for Institutional Membership subject to Board review. A “formally organized unit or organization” is defined as an operational entity possessing attributes such as a budgeted staff, office space, website presence, and a professional head.

Dues

  • Institutional member dues are $353 per year.
  • Your membership will begin on January 1 and end on December 31.
  • Important: Membership dues are nonrefundable after 7 days from payment.

Each Institutional Member receives one (1) discounted conference registration each year for its designated UAA Institutional Representative. To receive the Institutional Member discount for UAA conference registration, the representative must have an Institutional Membership for the year in which the conference occurs.  Memberships expire each December.
