This year, exhibitor opportunities will include a dynamic range of activities described below:
Virtual Book Sales ||| Marketing (sponsorships + ads) ||| Networking ||| Scholarly Engagement via Roundtable Discussion ||| Register for the Conference

Virtual Book Sales

  • Publishers will have the opportunity to exhibit book selections by linking their own sales website to the online conference program. Detailed instructions will be available in early January.
  • There will not be a physical book exhibit. All book sales will be online.
  • Tentatively, exhibitors will be able to create an exhibitor profile in the online program that may include the following:
    • Company Information
    • URL – add a custom link to your company website or virtual exhibit
    • Promotional Offers – share discount codes, limited-time sales, etc.
    • Video – add 1 promotional or informational video
    • Handouts – upload up to 2 PDFs

Marketing (sponsorships + ads)

  • One-page program ad
    8.5” x 11” portrait orientation in black & white. PDF Press Quality or .jpg or .png file at minimum 1200×1800 pixels (300 dpi). Program ads must be emailed to [email protected] by April 1, 2025.
  • Website rotating banner ad
    Rotating banner ad (600 x 360 pixels) on the Conference home page with the ability to link out to a page on your institution’s website, a PDF, or a custom post on the UAA site with details about whatever you would like to market. Banner images should be emailed to [email protected].
  • Sponsorship opportunities

Networking

  • ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS WITH POTENTIAL BOOK AUTHORS: Meet and greet sessions between publishing representatives and individual attendees will be facilitated to discuss book ideas, etc. A dedicated meeting space for these meetings will be provided. Each exhibitor will be assigned one (1)  table in a shared conference room that they may use to display promotional materials, conduct meetings with attendees, etc.
  • RECEPTIONS: Exhibitors will have the option to interact socially with attendees during three (3) evening receptions (ticket purchase required).

Scholarly Engagement via Roundtable Discussion

Publishing representatives will have the option of serving as speakers on specially scheduled roundtables* on the following topics.

  • Publishing issues in journals
  • Book publishing

*A roundtable session is an informal discussion of a topic scheduled for a 50-minute period. The discussion is led by one or more persons but open to anyone who wishes to join in. Leading a roundtable is a good way to meet attendees interested in a specific topic.

  • NETWORKING RECEPTION TICKETS (optional): If you wish to attend any of the networking receptions, you may purchase tickets to those events. The last day of ticket sales will be March 10, 2025.
