LOOKING FOR A WAY TO PARTICIPATE?

Whether you missed the abstract deadline or you are just learning about the conference, there are still a few options for people looking to participate.

Special Opportunities for Book Authors
Participant Observer: observe, participate in, or listen to conference session discussions
Other Volunteer Roles: not available. UAA has a conference staff that manages all aspects of the event. We do not use volunteers.

The last day to request a registration refund was 2/26/24. Registration refunds are no longer available.

2024 MEMBERSHIP

If you join UAA today, you will be eligible for the discounted conference registration.
Institutional Memberships offer a discounted registration for 1 person only. The discount is usually applied to the registration of the designated representative, but can be transferred to another person if requested. The discounted registration does not apply to all people who work at that institution.

CONFERENCE SERVICES

Special Needs – You will be given the opportunity to identify special needs during the completion of your registration form.

Accompanying persons
- Conference Sessions – People who want to attend sessions should register for the conference.
- Networking Receptions – A limited number of guest tickets are available for purchase by registered attendees.

DO YOU PUBLISH CONFERENCE PAPERS?

Conference proceedings are not published. Instead, we invite all interested presenters to submit manuscripts to the Urban Affairs Association-sponsored peer-reviewed publications: Journal of Urban Affairs or Journal of Race, Ethnicity and the City.
