Kari has over a decade of experience and education in urban and community development. While completing her Masters degree in Urban Development and PhD in Urban Studies, Kari researched the history of city planning and housing policies and programs and taught an undergraduate urban studies survey course. She has also lived, worked, and traveled throughout the United States, Europe, and North Africa. Kari is currently a Community Planning and Development Representative with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Prior to joining HUD, Kari worked as a Policy and Program Analyst for the State of Wisconsin.
