Proposal acceptance/rejection notices sent via e-mail.
December 12, 2016 — Early Registration Deadline 12 midnight Central Standard Time OR 5:00am GMT. New rates go into effect at 12:01am on December 13, 2017.
February 13, 2017 — Late Registration Deadline 12 midnight Central Standard Time OR 5:00am GMT. This is the registration deadline for all presenters on the conference program. WARNING: YOUR NAME WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE PROGRAM IF YOU FAIL TO REGISTER BY THIS DATE.
March 1, 2017 — Final Refund Deadline Last day to withdraw from the conference and receive a partial refund (i.e., registration fee minus $95 processing fee).
Also, last day to receive a partial refund for meal/reception/tour ticket purchases (i.e., ticket fee minus 10% processing fee).
Beginning March 2, no refunds are allowed.
March 1, 2017 — Changes to Program Listing Deadline
Last day to make any changes in your presentation listing on the conference program. After March 1, only changes in presenter/moderator OR withdrawals will be made to the online program. Once the program is sent to the printer (usually 3 weeks prior to the conference), no changes will be made to the printed program text.
March 2, 2017 (Deadline Extension) — Accepted International Presenters — Deadline for requesting Certificate of Attendance
March 26, 2017 — Hotel Rate Expires UAA has negotiated discounted room rates at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. However, these rates only apply if there are empty rooms available in our “block.”
April 3, 2017 — Paper Submission to Moderator Deadline
Deadline for submitting papers (via e-mail) to panel moderators. The UAA Executive Office will send an email to presenters with moderator information prior to this deadline.
