Reservation by phone has historically resulted in a great deal of frustration for conference attendees due to inconsistent rate quotes. Therefore, we strongly advise you to use the online reservation method (please see above) so that you receive the appropriate group rate.

Note About Hotel Rates & Availability
The hotels chosen for UAA conferences must meet certain criteria. The most important requirements are: 1) good quality meeting space, and 2) a highly-accessible downtown location. In order to house the various activities of the conference under one roof, we search for properties that are multi-purpose in nature. These hotels are rarely the least expensive. Our goal is to provide a high-quality meeting space that meets the professional needs of our attendees. UAA enters into a contract each year to provide a specific number of rooms at a discounted rate for that property. By choosing to stay at the conference hotel, you are helping UAA to keep other conference costs down, which allows us to better control registration rates.
Please remember that once the contracted room block is filled, UAA cannot guarantee you a room at the discounted prices. The hotel may choose to provide additional rooms beyond the contracted room block, but this is subject to availability and may result in higher prices.
UAA avoids entering into multiple hotel contracts. Why? Because hotels require a guaranteed minimum revenue level from any group block. UAA cannot make such commitments to more than one property without assuming a high level of financial risk. We understand that some attendees must operate within tight budget parameters. We respect the right of any attendee to seek cheaper rates outside of the conference hotel. Do keep in mind that the conference hotel offers a number of advantages that may not be available at other properties. By staying at the conference hotel you have maximum opportunities for networking, not to mention the convenience of a simple elevator ride to sessions and meal/social events.

If you are on the conference program and would like to be added to the UAA Conference Roommate Locator Directory, you may do so by completing and submitting our online roommate directory submission form.
UAA is providing this service as a courtesy to its conference attendees. UAA bears no legal or financial responsibility for the outcome of your lodging arrangement(s) and/or the outcome of your interaction with any other person with whom you choose to share lodging. Any agreement you may enter into is a private matter solely between or amongst the involved lodgers.
The information that you submit for inclusion in the directory will be shared with other individuals who are in the Roommate Locator Directory via a weekly email that will be circulated by a staff member in the UAA Executive Office.
