DESCRIPTION OF WEB MEETING
Join this virtual community of UAA scholars who meet weekly to support each other achieve their writing goals. The sessions provide accountability and utilize time-blocking to encourage scholars to spend an hour each week in focused and productive writing. Scholars set an individual writing goal, which is shared in the group chat. These goals could be daily word counts, completing chapters, submitting work to publications, or anything related to their writing projects. Accountability within the group helps members stay on track.
Basic Structure of Writing Hour
3:00–3:10 Chat box used to list name and career stage plus state today’s writing objective
3:10–3:50 Writing activity period
3:50–4:00 Use the chat box to report out on today’s accomplishments
