For the academic year 2025-2026 awards cycle, all book reviews published in 2025 would be eligible, and receive consideration by the award committee. The award is presented at the 2026 spring conference.

Award Benefits

The recipient(s) of the award receives:

  • An international announcement of the award
  • A special award plaque
  • A complimentary conference registration waiver and 1 ticket for the Wednesday Night Opening Reception for each review author. The waiver must be used for the conference at which the award is received.

Selection Process

Each spring, the award is determined by a committee appointed by the Chair of the UAA Governing Board. The committee chair reports the decision to the UAA Executive Director. The UAA Executive Office notifies the recipient.
