REGISTRATION RATES

REGISTRATION INCLUDES: access to all concurrent sessions, plenary sessions, awards program, Thursday refreshment breaks, Friday refreshment breaks, wi-fi access (suitable for email & conference app), name badge, mobile app, and discounted hotel rates.

The registration rates listed below include credit card processing fees.

MEAL, RECEPTION AND TOUR TICKETS

• Tickets may be purchased until 3/15/27 or while supplies last.
• All meals and networking receptions require a ticket purchase.
• If you wish to purchase a ticket after completing your registration fee payment, simply open your Registration Confirmation email and click on the “Add to your order” button.
• A limited number of tickets (at higher prices) have been reserved for new registrations occurring 3/15/27-4/1/27. These individuals should register for the conference and then email [email protected].

*Due to local, county and state liquor laws, and liability insurance restrictions, children under the legal age for alcohol consumption are not allowed to attend receptions.

About Reception Prices

Why are receptions priced as they are? Firstly, we do not use trimmed down menus. We provide an open bar and hors d’oeuvres at receptions.

Secondly, the ticket prices reflect the cost of a hotel-catered event. Such events have a pricing structure (familiar to wedding planners) that is completely different from a restaurant or take-out food establishment. For example, a typical Conference breakfast buffet catered by the hotel has a base cost between $45 and $55 USD. In cities like New York and San Francisco, this price may approach $70 USD! Shockingly, these prices do not include 24-26% service charges and 6-15% taxes. The service charges and taxes can add another $14-$25 USD to the base price. We only charge attendees the base cost of the meal. Bottom line: UAA subsidizes each event.

Reception events at the conference are prime opportunities to network with colleagues.

WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICIES

Withdrawals

• Withdraw from conference (PRESENTERS & NON-PRESENTERS): Not able to attend the conference? Please formally withdraw via the Withdrawal / Refund Request Form.
• Change presenter (request a program change): 
  1. Verify that your co-author is not already scheduled to present in another session AND has paid the appropriate conference registration fee AND
  2. Contact us and provide presentation title and name of non-presenting, registered co-author
• Cancel hotel reservation: Follow instructions in your hotel reservation confirmation email on how to cancel your reservation.

Refund Deadlines & Policies

•   February 1, 2027 = Last day to request a refund for conference registration  (Administrative fee: $200 for non-students; $100 for students)
  No registration refunds will be granted after February 1, 2026, EXCEPT in the case of late denials of funding applications, or late denial of travel visa applications. Documentation is required to establish your denial status.
•   February 1, 2027 = Last day to request a refund for reception, meal & tour ticket purchases (minus 20% administrative processing fee)
  This is the last day to request a ticket refund minus a 20% administrative processing fee. No ticket refunds will be granted after February 1, 2027.
• Refund Application: If your name is listed on the conference program, you must first withdraw from the conference before submitting a refund application. Apply for a refund. Allow up to three business days for processing.

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT POLICIES

February 1, 2027 – Last day to request a refund for registration (Administrative fee: $200 for non-students; $100 for students); Last day to request a refund for reception, meal & tour ticket purchases (Administrative fee: 20% of ticket price).
March 15, 2027 – Registration deadline for attendees not on the official program.

• Membership in UAA/APNHR/ENHR/EURA/ISA is not required to register for and attend the conference. However, members do receive a registration discount.
• Local practitioners who are participating as program presenters are eligible for a registration waiver. Use the Local Practitioner Waiver Request Form to request a waiver.
• Accepted forms of payment – only online credit card payments will be accepted.
  • Checks are no longer accepted.
• Registration & Ticket Refund Policy – Due to financial commitments (e.g., guarantees of a certain number of attendees, transportation contractual arrangements) that UAA must make in the weeks leading up to the conference, your fees are expended regardless of whether you attend or not. This is why we cannot refund your fees after a certain date.
  • Registration refund deadline = February 1, 2027
    • Administrative fee: $200 for non-students; $100 for students
  • Ticket refund deadline = February 1, 2027
    • Administrative fee: 20% of ticket price

TICKET SALES POLICIES

February 1, 2026– Last day to request a ticket refund (minus a 20% administrative fee)
April 1, 2026 – Last day to purchase reception, meal or tour tickets (subject to availability)
Reception tickets can only be purchased by a person who is registered for the conference.

• UAA is required by caterers to “guarantee” a specific number of diners at least 14-21 days in advance of each reception. Once this number is fixed, UAA is financially obligated to pay for this guaranteed number regardless of how many people attend. To meet this requirement and provide an accurate guarantee, ticket sales and ticket refunds will end on February 1, 2026.
• Some receptions may have space constraints. If the maximum capacity for these events is reached, ticket sales will close before April 1, 2026.
• Due to local, county and state liquor laws, and liability insurance restrictions, children under the legal age for alcohol consumption are not allowed to attend UAA receptions.
• Registration & Ticket Refund Policy – Due to financial commitments (e.g., guarantees of a certain number of attendees, transportation contractual arrangements) that UAA must make in the weeks leading up to the conference, your fees are expended regardless of whether you attend or not. This is why we cannot refund your fees after a certain date.
  • Registration refund deadline = February 1, 2026

    No Registration Refunds Granted

    This is the last day to request a ticket refund minus a 20% administrative processing fee.
