REGISTRATION RATES

REGISTRATION INCLUDES: access to all concurrent sessions, exhibits, plenary sessions, awards program, Thursday 15-minute coffee breaks, Friday 15-minute coffee breaks, wi-fi access (suitable for email & conference app), laptop use for presentation, audio-visual services for powerpoint slide shows, name badge, printed program, mobile app, and discounted hotel rates.

REGISTRATION DOES NOT INCLUDE: access to meals or networking receptions (ticket purchase required).

  • From 10/25/23-4/3/24, tickets can be purchased online during the regular registration process and after registration by making an additional transaction/purchase.
  • A limited number of tickets (at higher prices) have been reserved for new registrations occurring 4/4/24-4/26/24. These individuals should register for the conference and then email reg@uaamail.org.

*Due to local, county and state liquor laws, and liability insurance restrictions, children under the legal age for alcohol consumption are not allowed to attend receptions.

About Meal and Reception Prices

Why are breakfast meals and receptions priced as they are? Firstly, we do not use trimmed down menus (e.g., beverage and pastries for breakfast). We provide hot breakfast buffets, free drinks and nice snacks at receptions.

Secondly, the ticket prices reflect the cost of a hotel-catered event. Such events have a pricing structure (familiar to wedding planners) that is completely different from a restaurant or take-out food establishment. For example, a typical Conference breakfast buffet catered by the hotel has a base cost between $45 and $55. In cities like New York and San Francisco, this price may approach $70! Shockingly, these prices do not include 24-26% service charges and 6-15% taxes. The service charges and taxes can add another $14-$25 to the base price. We only charge attendees the base cost of the meal. Bottom line: UAA subsidizes each meal.

Meal and reception events at the conference are prime opportunities to network with colleagues.
