There are several options available for book authors who are interested in promoting their recent (within last two years) or forthcoming books at the conference.
Book authors may also arrange to have their books (published in the last 5 years) promoted at the conference through Association Book Exhibit (ABE). ABE is a marketing and exhibit services company for book publishers that has been displaying books at UAA annual conferences for over 30 years.
All you need to do is bring a copy of your book to the conference and drop it off at the Association Book Exhibit (ABE) exhibit tables.
If you have order forms or promotional flyers, please bring 25-50 of them for distribution.
ABE will exhibit the book during the conference and stimulate ordering activity.
There is no associated cost for this service.
A book author may provide a flyer promoting the book for display on our “freebies” table. This is an open table located at the registration area. The table is not staffed. Anyone can take materials placed on the table. There is no fee for this service. Interested persons should contact support@uaamail.org.
A book author or publisher may have a one-page flyer distributed to all attendees for a fee. The fees are established each year and available for review under Advertising Opportunities on the conference website.
If your publisher is an Exhibitor, you may wish to make arrangements with your publisher for a Book Signing in the Exhibit area. Your publisher can arrange for advertising for the event using the online/print program and/or one-page flyer. The signing event would occur at your publisher’s exhibit table.
